We’re a family company, through and through. A husband-and-wife team on the front end, but behind the scenes there’s the artists, the product developers, the product testers, the babysitters, and the cheerleaders. We’ve built our lives and our company around family, from the watercolor art to the handcrafted wooden frames, each building block of Optical Lift starts and ends with family. That’s why everything you’ll find here is uplifting, positive, and family-oriented. Just like us.

Optical Lift began as most things do, with a tiny idea that slowly blossomed into reality. Each step that brought us here was backed by the dedication that can only come from people who believe in you. As we broke molds and fought currents, we discovered a world of creative minds and invested hearts who find value in the small things, the unique pieces, the one-of-a-kind items that bring a smile to your face. We discovered you, and that’s why we’re here, taking names and sending happy.

Each unique product we sell begins with a little scribble on a notebook page covered in a four year old’s crayola marker creations. Idea, doodle, lettered word, if it doesn’t pass the “baby wanted to color it” test, it’s set aside for another day.

The watercolor paintings aren’t created because they’ll be popular or the topics are trending, but because they tickled the fancy of an artist’s whimsy and she put brush to paper to see what would happen. Each wooden item turns out a little differently, because the craftsman approaches it depending on his mood that day.
